Sternlicht
Sternlicht (Soliman de Hus x EM Rhapsody/Rascalino) 16.3 H, 2010 Stallion
A truly rare offering of top performance horse and fully-approved breeding stallion! Sternlicht’s record speaks for itself – 3 US Dressage Finals titles, 6 USDF Regional Championship titles, many All-Breeds Year-End awards and he’s still going strong with just having qualified in 3 divisions for the 2023 US Dressage Finals under Brittany Stanley. He’s also straight-forward to live with on a daily basis, loves hacking out, and is well-traveled and confident in new environments. Sternlicht’s the ultimate small-tour schoolmaster for either a Junior/Young Rider with ambitions of competing at the NAYC or for a competitive AA rider looking to earn their Silver Medal.
If you’re looking to breed, Sternlicht’s also fully-approved by Hanoverian, Rhineland, Oldenburg, Westfalen, & ISR/Oldenburg NA registries. A well-established stallion, his offspring typically inherit his uphill build with a strong topline, long legs, and easy trainability. He’s proven to cross well with many different types of mares and has sired many Premium Foals and Inspection Site Champions. The Sternlicht offspring are following his success in the show ring too and have won in-hand titles, top ten finishes at USDF Regional Championships & US Dressage Finals, and division championships in the hunter ring.
Sternlicht’s sire, Soliman de Hus, was Champion of his licensing and Performance Test, and also competed to Grand Prix. He has many approved stallions and high-priced auction horses to his record; as well as numerous FEI dressage horses and World Young Horse Championship competitors. Grandsire Sandro Hit ranks at the top of the WBFSH Dressage Sire Rankings.. Great-grandsire Donnerhall has created his own legend through being a top international Grand Prix horse and a positive influence on dressage breeding. Sternlicht’s dam is an eighth generation Elite/SPS Mare and has produced two licensed stallions.
Sternlicht is being offered only to a carefully selected home that will continue to show this special horse and has the right training support at home to be successful with him.
Finley HTF (Foundation x Releve HTF/Royal Prince) 2022 Gelding We are really pleased with the quality in this fantastic yearling by Foundation. The judges at his inspection were also impressed and he was a Gold Medal Foal and was named Top Colt out of a really strong group of foals. Dressage at Devon 2023 was his first showing outing and Finley was 3rd in the Hanoverian class, won the Yearling Colts/Geldings with an 80%, and was 3rd in the Colt/Gelding Championship. Sire Foundation (Fidertanz-De Vito) was the winner of the Oldenburg Main Premium title and has produced over 30 licensed stallions, the Reserve World Champion Young Horse Ferrari OLD, and FEI competitors at an early age. Ridden by Matthias Alexander Rath, Foundation himself has been successful in international Grand Prix competitions including Deauville, Rotterdam, Aachen, Doha, and Falsterbo. Grandsire Fidertanz was also successful at international Grand Prix level, was named Hanoverian Sire of the Year in 2021, and has produced over 50 licensed stallions. Dam Relevè HTF earned an impressive 7.83 at her mare inspection and is an Elite/Premium Hanoverian Mare. Her offspring inherit her beautiful type and correctness. Her first foal was Reserve Champion of the USDF East Coast Foal Championship. Damsire Royal Prince still holds the record for the highest finish by an American-owned horse with his 4th place finish at the WBFSH Young Horse World Championships. Relevè’s dam was the wonderful FEI mare EM Comtesse (Cordoba-Weltmeyer) who has produced a number of Devon winners and successful dressage horses. Finley is registered with the Hanoverian Society and has his microchip, USEF Lifetime number, and USEF National Passport. He’s got a very social, engaging character and seeks out attention. There is lots to love about this fun young horse and we think he will be easy to develop in the coming years. Price: $18,000
